Thermal Blockout Roller Blinds are a neat and fuss-free window covering, when room darkening and privacy is required. Raised and lowered by a chain or can be ordered motorised for extreme ease of use. Thermal Blockout Rollers are available in a variety of contemporary colours and subtle textures, in widths up to 3000mm wide. Thermal Blockout Rollers are ideal for Bedrooms and Living Spaces. Please note the width size you order for Roller Blinds is the bracket to bracket size, the fabric is 33mm less. Backing Colour: Our Thermal Blockout Roller Blind range is backed with a foam thermal backing. Which will either be the traditional off-white backing or a coloured backing (colour closely matches front of fabric). Why is this important? Some people want to know what the blind will look like from the outside when pulled down. Off-white backing on blinds for a darker exterior clad home may not be desirable and vice versa. Secondly, the backing colour is important if you are planning on ordering and installing the blind as back roll. When you back roll a blind, what you see across the top of the tube is the back of the fabric (the backing). The only time we really suggest back rolling a Thermal Blockout Roller is if you are ordering as outside fit. If ordering as inside fit, please order the Thermal Blockout Roller as front rolled.
If you need to install a Thermal Roller Blind as an outside fit, please consider ordering one of the fabric that have the coloured backing as its more visually appealing. Coloured backings offer a softer transition rather than seeing off-white across the top of the blind. To determine if the fabric you have selected has an off-white backing or a coloured backing we strongly suggest you order samples or refer to the Learn More when clicking on the fabric ranges. Fabrics in this category that have coloured backings are, Le Reve, Karma, Duo Block, Resene Origin, Sierra and Tapestry. Fabrics in this category this category that have off-white backings are Evolution, Mantra, Skye, Linesque and Chatsworth. Sirocco is unique, these colours have coloured backings Caviar, Thunder, Smoke, Flint, Seaspray, Mist and Beechwood. While these colours Chai, Glacier, Marble and Nougat have off-white backings.
